Kathleen Gonzales | founder and ceo
Kathleen started her career with ESPN/BRB productions in Los Angeles where she was a production coordinator working on the Summer and Winter X Games and the ESPY awards. She then moved to Colorado to work for Denver Broncos ThunderVision as a content producer and host for Gameday Entertainment. During the offseason, she was a freelance publicist representing various clients, from authors to artists.
After six years in entertainment and lifestyle PR, she moved to cannabis where she saw a need for high-level professionalism and strategy in cannabis. Her experience in a fast-paced, breaking news area of PR has helped her create a powerhouse team that is reactive to the current news cycle. It was her experience launching cannabis into the mainstream after the 2018 Farm Bill that boosted her vision and strategy for successful PR campaigns on a national level. Since then, Kathleen has been recognized as one of the most influential publicists on the West coast, having successfully launched nationally recognized clean beauty, organic natural products, spiritual + wellness experts, and currently working on her first client book launch and tour. She prides herself on representing industry leaders and sharing their stories with the world through public relations.

Kathleen graduated from California State University, Fresno with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Journalism with an emphasis in electronic media production. In her free time, she enjoys music and arts events. She likes to start her day with HIIT workouts and yoga. When she isn’t out and about, she enjoys spending quiet nights at home working on her craft by journaling and creative writing.
MK Edwards, PR Assistant/Copywriter
MK began her career as a freelance writer with a focus in business-to-consumer blogs, web copy, and marketing material before transitioning to public relations. Her experience includes research and development, creative content creation, and technical writing. While building her writing portfolio, MK also worked in hospitality management and tutored international college students, helping them improve their reading comprehension and essay writing skills in English.
MK graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a B.A. in English and a B.F.A. in Creative Writing. She is currently earning a Science Communication certificate from the University of California San Diego Extension and is a member of the San Diego Science Writers Association. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog Einstein, reading books, and writing her first novel.
